About Sandra
Sandra has worked for over a decade in the restaurant industry, with over five years making wedding cakes. She bakes with real cream, butter, quality chocolates, fresh whole eggs, real flavours and real liqueurs, all held to the highest standards. Almost all of her foods are made from scratch and uses local suppliers when ever possible.
She has been kept very busy this past year, and everyone is eating it up! Buffet brunch for fifty, elegant Hor's D'oeuvres for after a classical music recital, a wine and cheese evening and much more. She also prepared, transported and served a five course fine dining experience for twelve in the comfort of their own home.
Unfortunately she cannot accommodate large groups (large wedding receptions for example) at this time as she is a one-woman team, but she would be happy enhance your evening with that little something extra. From freshly made, hand dipped chocolates, to a decadent dessert table, her creations are not production made, artificially coloured / flavoured /stabilized or sicky-sweet. She prides herself on creating foods that she is proud of and that you will be proud to present to your guests.
In addition to new recipes, she is constantly adding to her collection of service pieces. From antique silver trays, to curved glass platters, wicker baskets and fine china, she finds food looks so much better with the proper 'frame'. She also loves to decorate with flowers, candles and even a three tiered water fountain!
